Hire terms and conditions

  • CI Scientific shall provide the renter with the above mentioned piece(s) of equipment for the time stated above
  • CI Scientific is to insure that the accuracy and overall quality of the equipment meets the requirements of National Standards, when the piece(s) of equipment are initially send out to the renter.
  • Unit will be calibrated and serviced by CI Scientific every 12 months to ensure functionality and adherence to standards. The calibration fee will be charged to the renters’ expense. The calibration fee for the above stated unit is $350 + gst for Sydney metro area, travelling fees apply outside this area.  This fee applies after the first 12 months.
  • CI Scientific keeps record of the calibration required for the piece(s) of equipment and will inform the renter when equipment is due for re-calibration. Costs for calibration are to be carried by the renter. Sending and issuing of calibration reports will be processed according to CI Scientific’s current guidelines.
  • The contract shall remain in force during the period specified above.
  • The contract will be renewed automatically on a monthly basis until advised by the renter or CI Scientific 7 days prior to termination date.
  • Payments (rates as stated under “Pricing”) is to be made at the commencement of the contract and monthly thereafter.
  • Rent charges will continue to accumulate until the equipment has been recognised as returned to a CI Scientific staff member.
  • Delivery to renter of this equipment has been included on this contract’s weekly rate. The renter is responsible for the return costs of this equipment.
  • Replacement Costs: The replacement cost of this unit (if lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair) will be as per Retail price on page one.
  • Any repairs to the equipment caused by renter such as: negligence; misuse or abuse will be performed by CI Scientific. The costs of these repairs will be deducted from the security deposit.
  • Renter is liable for all risks including personal injury due to misuse and product non compliance errors caused by using this equipment. As such action against CI Scientific Pty. Ltd. can not be taken.
  • The security deposit will be refunded to the renter upon termination of the contract.
